This is definitely one of the cruises we recommend if you are looking for a fun boat tour in Budapest. Operated by Silverline Cruises, one of the city’s most established and popular cruise companies, this one-hour cruise includes unlimited frozen drinks (Slushies) in a variety of flavors like sweet, sour, tropical, and even alcoholic versions.
When we took this cruise, there were a lot of people on board. For some this might feel crowded, but we honestly did not feel it was too packed and had a great time. The drinks are made from scratch, very tasty, and refreshing. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the overall cruise experience is excellent.
The cruise lasts about one hour and along the way you will pass by many well-known sights such as the Hungarian Parliament Building, Széchenyi Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, Gellért Hill, Gresham Palace, Margaret Bridge, the Great Market Hall, Gellért Spa, and the Bálna (“Whale”) building.
The departure point is from Silverline’s dock at Dock 11, right next to the famous Elizabeth Bridge. If you purchase your tickets online in advance, you simply need to show them when boarding - no printing is required.
The cruise operates both during the day and in the evening, with several departures daily between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm (times may vary). The price is about €19 per person regardless of age (no reduced prices for children), and tickets can be purchased in advance through this page.
